Born in Florida and raised in a military family across the eastern United States, Chad Sanders eventually put down roots in North Alabama, finishing school in Huntsville before making Arab his permanent home. His career has covered computer engineering, work at Redstone Arsenal, Christian radio, commercial audio production, jingle creation, and web development alongside a lifetime of writing and playing music.

Introduced to traditional country and bluegrass through his grandfather and shaped by the rock, pop, and rap of the 1990s, Chad served as a youth leader and began writing songs in his church community. Those influences never stayed in separate boxes. Today his catalog reflects all of them - traditional storytelling at the core, but unafraid of a modern drum track, deep bass, or a driving Southern backbeat.

Chad has been writing songs for more than two decades and now releases his original music independently, one track at a time, from Arab, Alabama.
