Not One Small
Southern Town
Chad Sanders' story doesn't begin in one small Southern town. Born in Florida and raised in a military family, Chad spent much of his childhood moving throughout the eastern United States before eventually putting down roots in North Alabama and finishing school in Huntsville.

From Redstone
to Radio
He later studied Computer Science and Computer Engineering through the University of Alabama and spent several years working at Redstone Arsenal. But music, technology, radio, and creative work were never far from the picture.
After taking an early departure from his career at Redstone, Chad turned those interests into a business of his own, building what would eventually include computer and IT services, web development, commercial audio production, jingle creation, and Christian radio.

Grandfather, Church,
& Alabama
Growing up, Chad was introduced to traditional country and bluegrass through his grandfather, while his own musical tastes expanded through the rock, pop, and rap of the 1990s.
Church became another major influence. He served as a youth leader, worked with music and technology for his local church, and eventually began playing music himself. After settling in North Alabama, he continued playing drums in church while writing and experimenting with songs of his own.
Those Influences Never
Stayed in Separate Boxes
Traditional country storytelling, bluegrass roots, Southern gospel, 90s rock and pop, modern rhythm production, and even a touch of disco all eventually found their way into Chad's music.
His current sound is built around the honesty and storytelling of old-school country, but it isn't afraid of a hard modern drum track, deep bass, rock guitar, or a driving backbeat.

Still Writing.
Over the past several years, he has increasingly focused on releasing his own music independently, including songs drawn from material written across more than two decades as well as new songs being created today.
What began as another creative outlet alongside radio, production, and business has grown into a steadily expanding catalog of original music. Today, Chad calls Alabama home and continues writing, recording, and releasing music shaped by a lifetime of different places, different sounds, and a distinctly Southern point of view.
